Simple Technology Solutions (STS), a HUBZone small business specializing in digital systems engineering for government missions, today announced the addition of Jason Henry as Strategic Advisory for Federal Law Enforcement Solutions. Henry has extensive experience implementing technologies and policies that promote information sharing and engagement between federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies. There is currently unprecedented cross-jurisdictional collaboration between all levels of law enforcement, and Henry’s perspective advances STS’s ability to deliver services and solutions that meet these unique operational needs.
Mr. Henry previously served as a Unit Chief at Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) for eighteen years. As the Unit Chief for the Law Enforcement Information Sharing Initiative (LEISI), he transformed the DHS information sharing environment to integrate culture, governance, business processes and technologies across the department and with external partners. He also provided strategic and tactical direction for the LEISI outreach team that interfaces with federal, state, local, tribal and international law enforcement partners.
“Jason’s appointment reflects STS’s commitment to serving the federal law enforcement and public safety missions, and ensuring our offerings are grounded in the operational realities, constraints, and priorities of the Administration”, said Betsey Hutton, Chief Growth Officer and Partner at STS. “His deep understanding of how to successfully deliver data-centric digital solutions that connect law enforcement agencies and promote better public safety outcomes will be invaluable as agencies focus on operational excellence and measurable outcomes.”
Mr. Henry is a former Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Advisory Council Member and member of the FBI Compact Council. He is an expert at big data, National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS), and using technology to the right information to the right person(s) at the right time in the right way.
